The Role
Job Summary:
1. Act as the key figure in coordinating end to end implementation of innovative and modern state of art financial products /user requirements into delivered solutions in an acceptable timeframe.
2. Follow detailed business requirements, provide effective planning and implementation of products and services.
3. Maintain excellent business relationships with contractors to improve the overall performance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Developing and implementing modern innovative financial products within the realm of payments for individuals through different channels: Internet, social networks, mobile phones, payment kiosks, retail outlets etc.
2. Managing the implementation of payment cards, e-wallet and mobile apps.
3. Creating a professional team of executives and delegating responsibilities to the team members on executive level.
4. Planning and keeping track of delivery of innovative payment solutions.
5. Providing progress reports to the business leader and company’s board members.
6. Working closely with the Risk Management Department.
7. Managing the budget for the current projects.
8. Planning and managing project resources.
9. Developing and using a network of internal and external relationships to enhance new innovative payments products.
10. Leading the teams effectively to meet project targets.
18. Developing and managing vendor contracts / agreements whenever necessary.
Requirements
a top-level professional with solid experience in financial/banking/payment sector
Key skills:
1. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
2. Sufficient experience and expertise of Project Management (preferably in the payments industry).
3. Proficient with MS-Office.
4. Experience in supervising business implementation managers/business analysts/project resources.
5. Excellent communication skills to interact at Board/Executive management level of businesses.
6. Experience in working in a large, complex organization.
7. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
8. React quickly to changing priorities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification. Advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred
2. MUST have at least 5 years of relevant experience in banking/financial/payments industry on UAE and Middle East market.
3. MUST be aware of the latest up-to-date achievements and trends in technology, finances, retail, e-money, payment cards, including UAE and Middle East market.
4. MUST be creative and able to come up with ideas for projects.
5. Experience in Europe, America, Australia, or in the well-known international companies in the profile .
6. Experience in managing change and implementing change strategies within a corporate environment.
7. Excellent leadership skills in complex environment
8. Proven process management experience including process design and optimization. Six Sigma or other qualifications a plus.
9. Experience in delivering professional services or consulting experience is a plus .
10. Excellent organization, planning and multi-tasking skills are a MUST
