Job Description

Our client, a multinational luxury lighting company, is looking for a result-driven Area Manager – Projects. You will be covering UAE, Kuwait, Jordan, Qatar markets and will be reporting to the Regional Director (Middle East, Subcontinent, Africa)

JOB PURPOSE

To develop, manage and coordinate project business in lighting and architectural solutions among given territory in order to meet established targets. Coordinate and cooperate among the team with support in technical and commercial part of the business

MAIN DUTIES

• Research on projects within the territory and access decision makers/influencers for projects in and outside the territory with respect to territory divisions among the rest of the team

• Manage to specify the products among major designers/specifiers

• Support PROJECT CONSULTANT in technical and commercial negotiations

• Coordinate and organise technical and coordination meetings among installations of products

• Concentrate on procurement / sale part of the business process to ensure specified / non specified is being procured

• Develop a database of clients / designers / contractors / procurement agents in the given territory

• Coordinate business relationships with existing accounts and cooperate with ALP's among small scale projects.

• Travel throughout assigned territory to visit regular and prospective accounts to increase product awareness

• Prepare market plans and strategies among given territory. Prepare on monthly basis thorough report and twice a year participate on overall presentation of the area

• Cooperate among national and international team members

• Support after sales service among the whole territory

• Turnover target as per given territory

• Keeping / extending the projects in the territory

• Sales territory: Kuwait / UAE / Jordan / Qatar

JOBHOLDER REQUIREMENTS

• University degree preferably in technical / electrical field with a diploma in business

• At least 5 years working experience in commercial field

• Market knowledge of the abovementioned territories and commercial rules

• Ability to travel

• Team player with independent thinking and planning skills

• Enthusiastic, self motivated, commercially and technically oriented

Language skills: fluent English - technical / business - spoken/written

• Driving license
