[IMG] Principal Accountabilities:
1. Maintain familiarity with U.A.E, Abu Dhabi and XX security & emergency response requirements; ensures Project compliance with requirements.
2. Develop Project security & emergency response strategies.
3. Coordinate preparation of Project Security Plan and Emergency Response Plan (ERP);
update plans and review with Project HSES Manager and internalclients.
4. Develop Project security & emergency response milestones and key performance indicators.
5. Review contractor Site Security Plans and Emergency Response Plans.
6. Anticipate, communicate and work to resolve Project security & emergency response support needs; raise security & emergency response awareness.
7. Develop emergency support materials (maps, plot plans, etc.) and instructions for use in any conference room designated as the Emergency Support Room in the event of a major emergency and which can be used during 'Table Top' exercises for training.
8. Develop and maintain schedule of 'Table Top' exercises; formulate scenarios and coordinate conduct of Table Top exercises, capture lessons learned I necessary improvements.
9. Maintain working relationship and contacts with Project IPMT and XX departments as appropriate (Corporate HSE, Operations Interface, etc.).
1o. Maintain contractor security & emergency response contacts; communicate Project security
& emergency response expectations.
11. Work closely with Project Managers and other IPMT Members to help ensure that contractors fulfill their contractual security & emergency response obligations (i.e., guard force, site security inspections, emergency response plans, personnel, drills and equipment).
12. Conduct contractor site security inspections I audits.
13. Periodically observe routine on-island drills and recommend improvements.
14. Investigate security incidents, security peaches and security near misses.
15. Promote management and protection of information.
16. Advise IPMT personnel regarding travel security.
17. Present security and emergency response topics at the IPMT Safety Meeting.
18. Participate and present Project security & emergency response topics Provide security &
emergency response performance input for routine Project reports (weekly, monthly, ad-hoc).
19. Prepare security & emergency response related information for internal Project meetings and management presentations, in contractor kick-off meetings and workshops, as well as information to be disseminated to Partner Companies as may be requested.
20. Ensure Project security & emergency response requirements are included in Invitation to
Tender (ITT) packages. Support bidder evaluations.
Minimum Requirements:
University degree I diploma (B.A., B.S or equivalent) or recognized HSE Certification (e.g. NEBOSH).
Minimum of 10 years overall work experience (in public, military and/or private sector) with some
Oil & Gas industry experience desired, but not essential.
Minimum of 5 years security and/or emergency response experience (in public, military and/or private sector) (police, corporate security, emergency response coordination, etc.).
Safety or other HSE related experience desired, but not essential. Public I private sector supervisory or military officer experience desired. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint or equivalent software. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
