A fantastic opportunity currently exists for a Business Development Manager to work for a well renowned hospital based in Abu Dhabi. The multi speciality hospital strives to provide the highest level of specialised patient care, from the first diagnosis to the management and treatment of all cases.
As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for developing and implementing the business strategy of the hospital and to promote awareness and thus ultimately increase business.
Key areas of responsibility:
• Maximize efforts to promote awareness of the hospitals unique selling points and position in the UAE by liaising with the Marketing team.
• Utilise various marketing opportunities by working in collaboration with the Marketing team to sell brand and increase business profile for the Hospital.
• Visit, research and develop a database of potential competitors in the UAE market to ascertain their strengths, weaknesses and prices.
• Develop and cultivate professional contacts with all clients, and with key leaders and decision makers in order to develop the hospitals business throughout the region;
• Obtain customer insight and positioning to further enhance business relationships;
• Contribute to maintenance of competitive pricing structure through analysis of market trends.
• Identify risk management issues to appropriate members of the management team of the Centre.
• Facilitate meetings of the management team on issues relating to Business Development and Marketing.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in nursing care and the wider healthcare arena.
• Organise and participate in regular departmental activities, meetings and/or reports
Candidates who wish to apply must possess:
• BA or Masters in Business Administration, or Equivalent related years of experience preferably with experience in a multi-national company.
• Must have at least 5 years of senior marketing or business development experience preferably within a private hospital or healthcare field.
• Experience in a healthcare environment;
• Experience in start-up or entrepreneurial projects;
• Must have good communication skills in English, both written & spoken.
• Mature, professional attitude and manner
• Good listening / negotiating skills.
